The Alyélo Team
The owners of Alyélo, Costas Souliotis and Vera Politis, fell in love with Sifnos from the first moment they saw it 15 years ago and quickly made Faros their second home. To repay the beauty, peace and hospitality the place generously offered them, they decided to open their own restaurant in 2023. The restaurant is located in a preserved Sifnos building from the 1800s that was once a pottery. Together with their children, Stella and Antonis, chef Thodoris Grigoriadis and restaurant manager Apostolos Tzivas, they created a reference point for brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails, always with respect for the landscape and the history of Faros.
Inspirational Original Menus
Chef Thodoris Grigoriadis, with long-term experience at Spondi, Marconi’s and Pantheon restaurants, has crafted an original menu based on seasonal ingredients. Standout dishes include sea bass ceviche with lemon and peach confit, lobster crudo with citrus zest, Aegean tuna marinated in poke cut, roasted pumpkin risotto with smoked eel, grouper bianco cooked with Assyrtiko and lemon confit, and lobster ravioli with Metaxa sauce.
Wine List
The wine list, curated by Apostolos Tzivas, is also impressive, featuring over 60 labels from Greek and foreign producers.
Cycladic View
With a view of Chrysopigi, the Aegean Sea and the traditional settlement of Faros, Alyélo invites us on a taste journey where Cycladic tradition is married with modern culinary techniques. All this takes place under tamarisk trees that generously offer their shade, providing the perfect natural decor for a great celebration. Every meal at Alyélo is just that: a big celebration among friends where you can feel at home.

- Φανταστικό μαγαζί διπλα στη θάλασσα για όλες τις ώρες της ημέρας!! Εξαιρετικό φαγητό και πολύ ωραία cocktails! Επίσης το προσωπικό είναι πολύ ευγενικό και φιλικό!!! Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!!
